The owner of the restaurant is James Jones. He has an interest in barbecue food. so, he opened a restaurant inside the renovated Historic South Cle Elum Depot on April 20, 2013. John said it was a unique place because his vision matched this place. John was a Boeing engineer and electronics consultant by profession. He comes into barbecuing as a backyard hobbyist. But later on, he won national and international competition circuit pit master. James says that his recipe for success comes from everything he’s learned from his immersion in those high-end competitions. Smokey’s Bar-B-Que is a family-owned and operated endeavor, with his wife and two daughters actively involved in the operation of the business.
The restaurant does not have any branches. It is located only at 801 Milwaukee Ave South Cle Elum, WA 98943.
Alcoholic drinks are not available here. The restaurants only offer food and desserts.
