The Hall family founded Halls Chophouse Charleston in 2009, but their quest for excellent hospitality began far earlier. With his wife Jeanne at his side, Bill Hall spent more than forty years of his career running hotels and restaurants in Pinehurst, Hilton Head Island, Sea Island, Napa Valley, and Pebble Beach. Halls Chophouse is honoured to sell USDA Prime Steaks from Allen Brothers of Chicago, the greatest supplier of prime meats. Allen Brothers steaks are hand-selected, expertly aged, and hand-cut to exact portion parameters. These steaks are all cut from USDA Prime beef and are considered to be among the best in the world. We use a traditional dry-ageing method to produce incredibly soft, delicately flavoured, juicy steaks. Dry-aged steaks match well with deep red wines because of their rich, buttery texture and savoury flavour. Simple herb rubs or curries are also the finest approaches to bring out the taste of the steak. The natural richness in these beautiful cuts of meat will be drowned out by heavy sauces. When served simply, without complicated spices or entering details, the wonderful taste shows through the most.
