Jay Varughese, MD, certified by the American board of internal medicine. He is a physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. As he is a hospitalist, he provides care during his stay at the hospital. He does not visit the outpatient. Also, he is not available for the appointments. After the discharge of the patients, he contacts the other physician to provide regular checkups and care. He also instructs medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Medicine. He has also conducted research at Comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey.
