Francisco J. Albert graduated with honors from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. He has done graduation in Spanish literature and pre-medical studies. He then earned his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois, and completed his internal medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Albert worked as a chief of Internal medicine at Moncrief Army Community Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. He also worked in the field of the academic department. He serves as director of Wellness and Hospital Medicine for Graduate Medical Education at Lexington Medical Center, as well as assistant professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia and at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. After that, he joined the Lexington Hospitalists .
