She has also worked as a visiting physician at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. She has many years of experience in the field of various healthcare services like the care of critically ill patients and pulmonary medicine. She is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She is also a very active member of the society of critical care medicine, the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
