Carmelina’s
Carmelina’s restaurants are made after the traditional Sicilian comfort food with a Mediterranean twist from Executive Chef Damien DiPaola and Chef di Cucina Michael Hollenkamp. Carmelina’s opened in 2012 and is located on Hanover Street in the heart of Boston’s famous Little Italy. Since then, Chef DiPaola has transformed old family recipes from his family’s best dishes, into modern Italian cuisine with equal parts fresh pasta and seafood. The restaurant’s interior is an open kitchen, reflecting a mother-approved cooking space. Family photo decoration on the walls gives a homely feeling. The small space offers an intimate dining experience and the customers can watch their dishes come together from beginning to end. During the summer months, retractable front walls allow for open-air dining. Carmelina’s restaurant has been recognized on Yelp’s 7th Annual Top 100 Places to Eat list. It offers the top-rated and most popular eateries across the US. A special thanks go out to our dedicated team that made our twist on traditional Italian a reality. And of course, we would love to share the hard work and passion we’ve put into achieving this honor with you. Please visit the restaurant soon!
