Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital and is located on two blocks of land.The hospital started in 1971. Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center has continuously improved the facilities and upgraded its equipment through funds generated from Medical Center operations.The Joint Commission gives the credit to the hospital for performing best medical facilities.Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center Joint Commission accreditation is recognized nationwide as a quality symbol reflecting an organisation’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards. To earn and maintain Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval, an organisation have to undergo an on-site survey by a Joint Commission survey team at least every three years.Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center provides general medical and surgical care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients, and participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.Emergency room services are available on a 24-hour per day, seven-day per week basis. There are some more service which is being provided by hospital that includes Case Management,Diagnostic Services (Radiology), Emergency Services,Infusion Therapy, Intensive Care Unit, Laboratory, gynecology,Rehabilitation Services,Respiratory Therapy,Specialty Clinics ,Physician Calendar and specialty Clinics.
